Nice and quiet local park, most dogs on leads. Love the big fat Teddy in the truck. Friendly staff always have time for a chat.
What a beautiful park. I Was here with the kids. Lovely playground. We spent many hours here and never got bored. If you are looking for a romantic place this is were to be. Sitting on a bench looking at the bird's in the little pond. At the fountain there is a life of beautiful flowers. There is squeals running around and this is in January just imagine the summertime. I would recommend this place to everyone from the family, couples, dog owners and just people who would love to get away from the normal day rush and fuss. Relax and enjoy my friend
We love Ropner park and visit often. Sad to see though, that over the past year or two, as play equipment has worn down or broken, it hasn't been replaced. Instead a new barricade will be erected to stop access to the now bare area. One of the gates into the playground was removed and never replaced (according to the newsletter intentionally, though I don't understand the reasoning). So sometimes you may get dogs running in. I appreciate it's up to the owners to have good recall with their dogs, but still. There used to be a gate there.
Such a beautiful Park. Lovely lake, nice little cafe and toilets and fantastic children's play area.There are lots of places to park the car along the side road and a few disabled parking spaces just outside of the main gate.Unfortunately on several of my visits here there have been multiple dogs basically running wild, with owners too busy on their phones or chatting together. There are very clear signs on all of the gates saying dogs must be kept on lead at all times, however this clearly doesn't happen.
Beautiful, well maintained tranquil park with lots of amenities and a large pond with ducks and geese. I went there for a walk on Christmas Day imagine what it would be like in the summer! I'm definitely coming back.
