Good place to take a sick pet. First class service, all the staff have a caring and empathetic nature.
DO NOT USE JACQUI PATTERSONS VETS IF YOU VALUE YOUR PETS LIFESorry for the long read but I want to save your pets and don't want any one to go through what we haveWell after giving the vets who mistreated Ella the oppertunity to admit there mistakes they have chosen to go down the route of me taking them to court, I haven't posted there name as I was assured they were going to resolve any wrong They know and have admitted verbally that mistakes were made and at my cost I have a + 2000.00 bill. Because they treat animals by numbers, they don't listen to anything the owner has to say, they go off blood tests and because of that my dog is deadIt took 4 vets to diagnose Ella and 4 weeks all the time she was getting worse, she made no response to the treatment they gave yet they persevered with treatment,It was only when the only decent vet in the place decided to scan her as we went happy that she was not responding to treatment that we found she had a tumour, in the mean time they had treat Ella for pymetra, then gave her a emergency pymetra surgery, then as she was still unwell they said her kidneys were failing so treatment was 2 weeks of intensive iv fluids.Still she still made no sign of recovery, buy this time we had seen miro, Renata, Jacqui herself and it was not till Dominique seen her and said for us to give her a scan, it was at this point we found the tumour and were told off the vet that she had never had pymetra, or kidney failure and the last 4 weeks of treatment was not needed and only worsened her condition, over this time I had been syringe feeding her every hour on the hour was unable to go anywhere including work, I spent the 4 weeks keeping Ella alive whilst the vet was trying to kill her, needless to say we took Ella to a new vets who told us that they would of body scanned straight away based on the blood test results and that one of the results had been contaminated We tried to give Ella chemo at the new vets but she was way too week to complete the first course Ella was 37kg the day we took her too Jacqui Patterson's vets and was 25kg when we started chemo, after just 2 doses Ella got bone marrow suppression and it was decided to stop chemo and make Ella as comfortable as possible untill the inevitable happenedI'm not saying Ella would or could of recovered but I know had the correct treatment had been offered straight away she would still be with us for up to 18 monthAll I wanted was a simple apology and admittance mistakes were made,
After taking our beautiful Dog here for treatment she was misdiagnosed twice. She was receiving treatment for these illnesses for over 4 weeks which caused her so much more suffering the treatment she got was not needed and didn't help her at all i just think poor thing all that time on the wrong treatment its disgusting. And to watch her go from 37kilos to 25 was heartbreaking for me and my husband and 3 children. She was only 7 years old and if xrays or scans had been done straight away she won't of had to go through unnecessary treatment and suffering. So so upset with this vets. Poor Ella had to be put to sleep at a different Vets
