Picture post card views across the lake.The sunsets was stunning to behold indeed over the lake, all set at grandest Hall Wynyard splendor.Well worth a visit... All picture perfect.They have lovely gardens when in June they are gorgeous indeed.
Have not had the pleasure of staying here but it is a very nice venue for a pot of tea or a cup of coffee, especially if you enjoy it sitting on the rear terrace with it's very pleasing view on a lovely Summer day. Stunning entrance hall and friendly, welcoming staff make it a treat to visit. Superb drive through the picturesque grounds to get to the house itself too.
Really enjoyed my stay. The grounds are lovely to walk around and so peaceful. The hotel itself is pretty spectacular and retains its features and charms from when it was a country hall. The staff were great, friendly and welcoming without being over-the-top. I had dinner and breakfast and would highly recommend both. I can't wait to stay here again!
Booked a hot tub cottage for my friend's birthday. Been a couple of times before and always had a fantastic time. Went ice skating this year and loved in. Lovely atmosphere, staff are really helpful. Lovely place.
From the grand bedrooms/suites, to the excellent dining (will probably be a 3x Rosette very soon) - Wynyard Hall is deserving of this 5 star review. The service is impeccable at the hotel and the restaurant. Bedrooms are spacious (I stayed at The Lady Mae Suite) and many offer views out over the gardens - which are also nice to walk around. Evening dining is of a high standard and the breakfast was plentiful.When I stayed in early December, there was an ice rink within the grounds which can be booked. I enjoyed my stay so much that I'll be returning each year.
