Nice free car park where you can park up and have a walk along the to see some fantastic wildlife including seals, 100s of golden plover, 100s of lapwing and even a SEO, and if you keep walking you eventually get to a bird hide Nice place
Handy place to stretch your legs.
Good little car park but walk to see seal sadly affected (Jan 2018) by flood barrier work so not easy for kids such as my 5 year old, but we prevailed and saw the seals which was great. But has to walk along side of busy road and dodge fallen barriers. Hide that was there has been demolished apparently in about 18 months when barrier work finished it will be reinstated. I was told best time to see seals is two hours either side of high tide. Currently a 2 will be a 4 I would think when barrier work finished and hide is back. But all is not lost as RSPB Saltholme is a mile down the road and that's great for families and kids.
Great place for a little walk and watch the seals
DONT USE THE POSTCODE GIVEN , ITS INCORRECT... you'll be taken around to the processing plants further back down the road etcUnfortunately there's some kind of building working going on.. half of the car park has been taken up..the area seems quite busy etcFrom a basic view I can't see anything which would help views of the seals .. hides???? Anyway I'll add more as I'm exploring the area for views/ wildlife & a general great experience overall.... the next place on my list the bird protection nature reserve.. a very short drive down the road...
