Went to see the 'behind the seams' exhibition and look round the museum in general. very good-amazing the needlework in some of the costumes. The farmers market was on too. looked like it had been a good day for most even tho it was bitterly cold. Plenty of people with children and dogs enjoying the park itself!
Usual dog walking patch, but have gone here with my daughter at least weekly in the summer months due to living close by. It has everything - lovely spacious play area and cafe, open spaces and secluded woods, absolutely beautiful scenery and wildlife. Excellent to jog around or just sit and people watch.
Had a great day out. Very friendly staff which helped make the experience. Worth going to the cafe for a lovely cake if you've got time. Good for the kids to dress up and learn about past time fab day
Losing the one star, from a disabled man's point of view. The car is some distance away from the main and the track is filthy. However staff were. Superb, very helpful and attentive. The exhibits are both informative and insightful. Photos are allowed, which to me is an added bonus.
A very pleasant house and grounds with good car parking. The house contains a museum with various displays and is wheelchair accessible. A small caf is situated in the grounds. This would have been five stars if the large outdoor aviary had been restored. Well worth a visit.
