This place was pick up point only actual work done near Washington.
CVS/tyne tees repairs sent me to Dents in Stockton and at no point was i informed that that isnt where the repair would take place, so imagine my frame of mind when i collected my car to find 50+ miles added and over quarter of a tank gone. If it did indeed have to be sent to Washington and I don't see why since shouldn't Dents be capable?I would also think that if that was the case then surely you would drive on a flat-bed as you advertise collection and delivery of the cars and from the reviews I have read you do so on flat-beds.Since I was never told of any such information I would like to appeal and be sent 20 for the loss of fuel. The other issues I have is it appears whilst you had the car for 13 days the drivers side wing and door are scratched and the back bumper also these were certainly not that bad when dropped off but since I took no before photos it obviously cannot be proven and no doubt they will deny all but I am bitter about this your trusted with someone elses belonging and you have no regard for it at all. I am also sure when I called I was told they were doing some kind of work on the wing mirror and it looks untouched. The repair to front bumper is not too bad but I am sure I can see some scuffs already! Also the black plastic does have scruff looks like a different colour to before and was dirty.as apparently dents didnt carry on the work i will leave negative on cvs also
Worst experience of my driving life... excruciating to deal with DO NOT USE!
My partner was recently involved in a non-fault car accident resulting in some body work needed to the car. Dents were her insurance company's only approved garage in our area.We looked up Dents' reviews on the Internet to find many to our dislike. We discussed using our preferred garage with the insurance company but were faced with a 250 charge if we chose that option so we declined.Dents collected the car but prior to the collection we took extensive photographs of both the interior and exterior of the car. When we received the car back it was not delivered on a flat bed as agreed. We found that some of the agreed work had not been completed, the work that had been completed was done to a unsatisfactory standard, they had damaged our rear break light when the work being done was on the driver's side door and our mileage had increased by over 100 miles. We contacted our insurance company who discussed the issues with Dents, who denied all, but thankfully we had the photographs as proof. Our insurance company sent out an inspector to look over the car and he agreed with our points but also noticed several other issues; the paint work had three different colour shades and masking tape still visible from their work, etc. It was agreed that Dents would collect the car and complete the work again and they offered to replace the rear light as "good will" even though it was them who damaged it.When we received the car back the second time it was delivered on a flat bed but with a flat battery and the engine radiator was empty of fluid. We didn't notice these issues until later that evening when my partner was on her way to work. All in all we have received a very poor service from Dents. We would advise anyone in a similar position to pay the charge and use your own preferred garage and STAY AWAY FRON DENTS! I have given a 1* rating as that was the lowest. Really they deserve a -5*
